Dr. Tony Song joined Han Academy in 2018, where he teaches IBDP, A Level, and IGCSE Chemistry and Physics. In 2020, he assumed the role of Head of Upper Secondary Science. With over 10 years of teaching experience in international curricula, particularly within an IB World school like Han Academy, he possesses extensive expertise in teaching IBDP Chemistry.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Song serves as an IBDP Chemistry Examiner, evaluating the works of numerous students worldwide each year, including internal assessments (IA), extended essays (EE), and public exam papers. This experience has provided him with valuable insights and proficiency in guiding students through IA, EE, and IBDP exams.
With a postgraduate degree in Physical Chemistry, Dr. Song has established a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physics, enabling him to teach IGCSE and A Level Physics proficiently. He employs hands-on experiments and real-life examples to illustrate abstract principles of Chemistry and Physics.
Dr. Song's passion for teaching is evident in his commitment to dedicating ample time to instructing and supporting his students' studies, as well as providing timely feedback. He firmly believes that personalized guidance and addressing individual needs are crucial in helping students realize their full potential.
