Y5 Tina won the champion of Girls B 100m Breaststroke in the Hong Kong Island West Swimming Inter-school Competition held on 20 October. Tina also won the second gold medal in the Girls B 50m Breaststroke with her outstanding performance, making her the "Double Champion" of the competition on that day.

Y11 Sarah Hu won the Grand Prize in the Brush Calligraphy Category of the Mother Tongue Group.
Y7 Eunice Lau won the Third Prize in the Primary School Writing Project of the Mother Tongue Group.
Y6 Harley Han won the Good Prize in the Primary School Writing Project of the Mother Tongue Group.
Y12 Juwan Zhu won the Good Prize in the High School Writing Project of the Mother Tongue Group.
Han Academy was awarded the "Most Active Participating School" Group Award for organising and guiding students to participate in this year's Lu Xun Youth Literature Prize Competition.
In the June 2023 Cambridge AS & A Level examinations, Han Academy students Aliyah SAT has won the High Achievement Award for Cambridge International A Level Biology and the Best Across Three Award for Cambridge International A Levels. Juwan ZHU and David LI have won the the High Achievement Awards for Cambridge International AS Level Mathematics. Annabell KONG has won the the High Achievement Award for Cambridge International A Level Chinese.
Y4 Eric Xia won the Gold Award in the Middle Childhood Group of the 2023 My Most Wanted Place to Travel Drawing Competition organised by Hong Kong Cultural and Creative Industries Association.
Y11 Albert Lui represented the Hong Kong team in the 18th Soong Ching Ling Award for Children's Invention. He and his team won the Gold Award for their junior artificial intelligence (programming) entry "Face Recognition System Designed for Macaca mulatta based on Convolutional Neural Network”.
Y9 Angela He won the gold medal as a member of the Hong Kong Synchronised Swimming Team at the MGM MACAU Artistic Swimming Open 2023, which ended on 26 June!
Y4 Marcuz LEUNG won the co-ed heavy fencing U10 championship at the Tai Po Fencing 2023 Second Quarter Individual Epee Competition held on June 22, 2023.
Han Academy students won 9 championships, 4 first runner-ups, 7 third runner-ups, and 7 merit awards in the 3rd Chinese Language Festival in the categories of Chinese Recitation Pinyin Recognition, Tongue Twisters, Chinese Composition, Hard Pen Calligraphy, and Chinese Painting. It is worth mentioning that four of the seven winners in the upper primary group composition category of the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan competition area were Han Academy students.
Year 10 Xintong WANG broke the 13-14 year old group record in the Hong Kong Age Group Short Course Swimming Championships from May 26 to 28 with a time of 2:14.28, and won the championship in 800m and 1500m freestyle, 200m and 400m medley, etc., and finally won the highest points award for girls with the first overall score.
Fourteen students received awards, including two first-place winners, seven second-place winners, and five third-place winners, in the 23rd World Chinese Student Essay Contest. Four teachers received the "Outstanding Instructor Award".
Eight secondary school students received Distinction certificates for achieving top 25% global rankings in the 2023 Waterloo Math Contest. Three of the students were awarded honorary medals for their outstanding achievements.
Year 10 Xintong WANG won the gold medal in the 14-15 year old category of the girl’s 200m butterfly event at the Thailand Age Group Swimming Championships and set a new meet record, winning a total of one gold, four silver and one bronze.
Year 10 Albert LUI won the Bronze Award at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva for his project "Face Recognition System Designed for Macaca mulatta based on Convolutional Neural Network".

Year 13 Elsa LIU and Aliyah SAT won the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Prizes 2022/23 for their high standard of academic learning ability and leadership potential.
Since Han Academy was established, every graduating class has outstanding students receiving this award.
In the 74th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival, Han students Gloria JIANG and Ear CHEN won the 1st place in Chinese Speech, Yoyo MAK won the 3rd place in Chinese Speech, Yoyo MAK won the 1st place in English Speech, and Olivia JIANG won the 2nd place in English Speech.
Year 6 Sam Yang won the 2nd runner-up in 100M (Boys Group A) of the 2022-2023 Hong Kong Island Western District Primary School Athletics Competition.

The research project of "Monkey Diving" by Year 10 student Albert Lui's research group won the top prize of the 2022 Hong Kong-New York • International Youth Science Video Fair. At the same time, his group'sproject "Monkey Face Recognition" was shortlisted for the 13th National Youth Science Video Festival.

The 11th Coloring Contest organized by LOHAS Hong Kong x LOHAS Expo has ended, and the work of Y4 student Jimmy Li was selected as the Outstanding Work. The theme of this year's coloring competition is "Green Market". The organizers hope that students will realize through the competition that we should live in harmony with nature and eventually adopts thoughtful habits.
Eight students from Han debate team stood out from 30 teams and won the third place in its division in the 2022 "Zongheng Cup"Middle School Chinese Debating Championship.

Y12 Jenny Xu has been identified as the best performing learners in Hong Kong in the June 2021 examination sessions by CAIE. She is the only winner who achieves the Best cross Four in AS level in Hong Kong this time. She also won the Cambridge International AS level High Achievement Award for Biology. Eleven students from Han Academy won prizes in the 2021 National Primary School Students' Classic Speech Competition.
Y3 Eliza Tsui and Y11 Leo He won the second and third place in the "Hong Kong Youth Architectural Drawing Competition" in Oct. 2021. The competition, co-sponsored by China Overseas Holdings Limited, China State Construction International Holdings Limited and Bauhinia Magazine, attracted more than 12,000 students from all over Hong Kong.
The Han Fencing Team achieved great results in the 2021 Tomorrow's Star Fencing Competition (2nd Season) hosted by the Hong Kong Fencing School. Among them, Gloria Jiang from Y1 won the third place of girl's foil U5, Krystal Song from Y3 won the championship of girl's foil U7, Olivia Jiang from Y3 won the third place of girl's foil U7, Marvin Zheng from Y5 won the third place of boy's foil U9, Ken Wang from Y7 won the champion of boy's epee U11 , Curtis Song from Y7 won the third place of boy's epee U12, and Teresa Zhang from Y4 entered the quarterfinals of girl's epee U9.
Four students from Grade 9 to 10 of Han Academy performed well in the 4th China-US Youth Chinese & English Essay Competition. Erin Xu from Grade 9 won the first prize, Nate Yang and Michelle Li from Grade 10 won the second prize, and Juwan Zhu from Grade 9 won the third prize. Meanwhile, Mr. Zhao Jiawei and Mr. Liu Xu won the Outsanding Service Award of the competition.

In April 2021, Jannie Kwok in the sixth grade of Han Academy won the silver medal in the "Kangaroo Cup Dance Competition" organized by the Hong Kong Dance Federation.
The eighth grade student Sarah of Han Academy won the bronze award in the "10th World Children Art Awards 2021".
Year 8 student Sarah Hu from Han Academy won the Outstanding Award of the "4th Hong Kong Youth Calligraphy Competition".
Mr. Samson Chen and Ms. Vicky Zhou from Mathematics Dept. and Mr. Andy Zhao from Chinese Dept. of Han Academy received the Southern District Outstanding Youth Award 2020.
Alessandro from Y4, Kent and Benjamin from Y8 won the championships of Enjoy AI held by Baidu Cloud and Federation of Global Youth Artificial Intelligence in May 2020. The competition attracted over 1000 students from all over the world. The first prize award rate was 20% and all three students sent by Han Academy won the championships.
Three students of Han Academy went to the United States and participated in the World Scholar's Cup held by Yale University in Nov. 2019 together with other 2,500 top students from around the world. These three little kids, with an average age of 13.3 years old, faced their opponents with an average age of 16.5 years old in the competition. Finally, Year 10 student Jerry captured the champion of the School Top Scholars and won the DaVinci Award gold medal, while Year 8 Juwan and Year 10 Melinda also won silver medals in the Da Vinci Awards.

In the Asian Collaborative Trophy 2019 (Hong Kong) & International Fencing Club League 2019 (Hong Kong) held from August 30 to September 1 2019, Marvin Zheng , a third-grade student of Han Academy, won the Bronze Medal of U7, and Song Hang, a fifth-grade student, won the Bronze medals in both U10 and U11 groups.
Thirty-nine students at Han Academy won the Zhonghuaqing National Writing Contest held in June 2019.
Students from all around the world are invited to submit their creative proposals on solving different environmental issues to the 1st Ocean Park International Conservation STEAM Competition.
Han Academy sent three teams to conquer the 2019 World Scholar’s Cup in Macau on 8 June 2019, and they all qualified for the global competition with their outstanding performance.
Lin Shanshan won her personal writing and six academic all-around champions. Lin Chenxiaowen won the championship of art knowledge and humanities knowledge. The junior high school group which has Lin Shanshan(Year 7), Lin Chenxiaowen(Year 7) and Ho Yui Ji Clarice(Year 8) as its members, won the first place in group writing, and second place in group debate. The high school group which has Liu Mingting(Year 9), Zhou Wenzhao(Year 8) and Zhu Jingfeng(Year 7), won the fourth place in the group debate.
Twenty-two students from Han Academy participated in the 2019 Hua Xia Cup Mathematical Olympiad (Hong Kong) finals organized by Hong Kong Mathematical Olympiad Association in April 2019. Encouraging results with 18 students receiving First Honor, Second Honor and Third Honor in the tournament were achieved.

Held by the Hong Kong International Music Exchange Association, the Zhonghuaxin · International Music Competition took palce in Hong Kong in August 2018. Linchen Xiaowen, Year 7 student of Han Academy succeeded in her efforts to get the champion by singing her original song.
Founded in 1977, Math League is a Math competition for elementary, middle, and high school students in the United States, Canada, and other countries to promote enjoyment and study of mathematics by organizing contests for grades 4-12.
Six students at Han Academy won the first prize of Zhonghuaqing National Writing Contest held in May 2018.
The well-known dance competition Open Dance Contest ended with Dong Qi, Year 8 student of Han Academy winning Bronze Prize in Solo Session. Dong is the youngest winner in the contest this year.
Four students from Han Academy who barely have experience in the debate competition won Han Academy Trophy · Intercollegiate Debate Contest, the intercollegiate debate contest held by Han Academy in April 2018.
Every year, participants from all over the world will participate in Hong Kong Wushu International Championship, the highest-priced Wushu event in Hong Kong. With the self-created programme Zhonghua Wulong, Dr. Bruce Zheng from Han Academy and his students won three gold and one silver medals in the competition in 2018.
Due to the unique teaching methods and solid foundation in mathematics, nearly half competitors from different grades of the Academy won the top three prizes of the Hong Kong Gifted Sudoku Arena in Dec 2017. They are Hu Lidu, Peng Yuxue and Ho Yui Ji Clarice. Meanwhile, the Academy was crowned the Best School Performance Award.
